Saint Women's Cross Country, Track and Field 5th in Program of Year Competition

Mar. 19: St. Lawrence University's women's cross country and indoor track and field teams have combined for their loftiest ranking in the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Deb Vercauteren Women's Division III Program of the Year standings.

Saint Team, Three Individuals Earn USTFCCCA All Academic Honors

Feb. 22: St. Lawrence University's cross country teams each earned United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All Academic status and four individuals earned individual All Academic honors, based on grade point average and finish in the NCAA Regional Championships.

Cymerman, Martin, Howard Sweep Liberty League Awards

Nov. 27: St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team swept the major awards in the Liberty League for the 2012 season in voting by the league's coaches.

Martin Has Top Saint Rookie Finish, Team 7th at NCAA Championship

Nov. 17: Ella Martin had the best rookie finish in St. Lawrence University cross country history and the Saints recorded their third top ten finish in the last five years at the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship in Terre Haute, IN Saturday.

Nov. 14: Going into the 2012 cross country season, St. Lawrence University coach Mike Howard thought he had the makings of a good women's team despite the graduation of two of last year's top five and the transfer of a third.

2012: Courtney had a top finish of 73rd in the Hoffmann Invitational and finished 77th in the Liberty League Championship in her rookie season.

Courtney ran cross country, indoor and outdoor track at Staples High School and captained all three teams. She was All New England in outdoor track in 2011 and earned the All FCIAC Coaches Award. She was an honor roll student and an award winner in chempistray and Spanish.

Nov. 10: There wasn't a lot of suspense for the St. Lawrence University women's cross country coaching staff and its fans when it came to the 2012 NCAA Atlantic Regional Cross Country qualifier at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester on Saturday.

Saints Looking for Another Regional Title and Trip To Nationals

Nov. 6: St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team has been a regular participant in the NCAA Division III championships with four straight appearances and two top tens in that stretch. They have been the dominant program in New York State over the last several seasons, with 11 straight conference titles, five straight NYSCTC titles and are out to continue their success at the regional level.

Oct. 20: St. Lawrence University's women's cross country team had a streak of individual championships snapped at the New York State Collegiate Track and Field Conference Cross Country Championships at Center Park in Fairport on Saturday, but ran its team streak to five straight titles with a lopsided victory.
