Saints Open Season At Head of the Mohawk Regatta

Oct. 1:  The St. Lawrence University crew teams opened up their fall seasons with a great showing at the Head of the Mohawk Regatta in Niskayuna, NY on Saturday.  Both the men's and the women's varsity 8+ swept their competition, defeating Liberty League opponent Vassar.  Two novice crews competed for the men's team, earning a first and second place finish over RPI.  The women's novice 8 posted a first place finish over RPI, as well.

Three Saints Earn National All-Academic Status

May 26: Three members of the St. Lawrence University women's crew team, Maggie Fellows '13, Alissa McCaffrey '13 and Lauren Reed '11, have been named 2011 National Scholar-Athlete recipients from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).

Saints Race in 2011 ECAC Championships

May 9: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team competed in the ECAC National Invitational in Worcester, MA on Saturday.  Highlighting the weekend was a first place finish by the Saints' Four as they finished in 8:08.78, five seconds ahead of second place University of New Hampshire (8:13.32).

Saints Sweep Races at Hamilton

While the St. Lawrence University women's crew teams were flooded out of the New York State Intercollegiate Championships at Whitney Point on Saturday, the Saints swept a set of five races in competition at Rome on Saturday.

State Championships Cancelled, Saints To Row in Rome

The New York State Intercollegiate Rowing Championships scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Whitney Point have been cancelled due to flooding.

William Smith Outduels Saints for Conference Title

Apr. 23: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team saw its three-year reign as Liberty League champions come to an end on Saturday, as William Smith College topped the Saints by 4 seconds in the varsity 8+ race to earn the 2011 championship on the St. Lawrence River in Waddington, NY.

1V, 2V Earn Victories Against Union

Apr. 18:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team took two of three events against Union on Sunday on the Mohawk River.  Highlighting the day was the 1V, which came from behind after having a boat-stopping over head crab, but resumed rowing open water down to defeat Union. 

Saints 2V, Novice Four Earn Victories Against Ithaca

April 11:  The St. Lawrence University women's second varsity and novice four earned first place finishes on Saturday on the Cayuga Inlet in Ithaca, NY.  The Saints 1V posted a second place finish, beating out conference opponent Skidmore College, but falling to the Ithaca, which ranks second in the nation. 

Saints Rank #6 in National Coaches Poll

March 30:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team ranks no. 6 in the national USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Coaches poll as announced Wednesday. 

Saints Varsity Eights Handily Defeat RIT

Mar. 28: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team swept three of the four events against RIT on Saturday in Rochester, NY.
