Saints Compete in Tampa Mayor’s Cup

March 21: The St. Lawrence University women's crew team opened up the spring season at the Mayor's Cup in Tampa, FL during its annual spring trip. The Varsity 8+ and JV 8+ both earned silver finishes for the Saints.

2011-12:  Stokes competed on the Saints second varsity 8 in her rookie season at St. Lawrence.  

At The Community School:  Stokes was a four-sport athlete, participating in soccer, hockey, tennis and basketball. A captain of the hockey team, the Hailey, Idaho native was an honor roll student.

2011-12:  Yao coxed the first-year squads and second varsity 8 in her rookie season with the Saints.  She earned Dean's List honors in the spring of 2012.  

At Niskayuna: Yao earned the Most Essential Rower award on her crew team in the fall of 2007. A member of the National Honor Society, she was a NYSSRA Scholar-athlete, a National Merit Finalist, and National AP Scholar and also earned Niskayuna Medals of Excellence & Academic Excellence.  

Saints Erg 100,000-Meters As Team Fundraiser

Feb. 15:  The St. Lawrence University crew program completed a 100,000-meter Challenge last Friday in the Multipurpose room as a team fundraiser for its upcoming training trip to Tampa, FL. 

Saints Claim Category in “Fall Team Challenge”

Jan. 26:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team participated in Concept 2's "Fall Team Challenge" from September 15 through October 15, 2011 in preparation for the upcoming racing season.  The group's hard work paid off, as it was the top team in the "School Club" category, logging a total of 1,239,504 meters over the one-month span. 

Saints Conclude Fall Season at Head of the Fish

Oct. 30:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team concluded its fall season at the Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga, NY on Saturday. 

Saints Compete at Head of the Charles

Oct. 24:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team competed at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, MA on the weekend.  The Saints finished 14th out of 29 crews in the women's collegiate eight event.

Saints Compete at Bridge to Bridge Regatta

Oct. 10:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team competed at the Bridge to Bridge Regatta in Rome, NY on Saturday. 

Clean Sweep For Saints At Head Of the Mohawk Regatta

Oct. 3:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team opened its fall season with a great showing at the Head of the Mohawk Regatta in Niskayuna, NY on Saturday.  The Varsity 8+ came away with a victory over Vassar College, while the novice crew defeated Rensselaer.

Saints Open Season At Head of the Mohawk Regatta

Oct. 1:  The St. Lawrence University crew teams opened up their fall seasons with a great showing at the Head of the Mohawk Regatta in Niskayuna, NY on Saturday.  Both the men's and the women's varsity 8+ swept their competition, defeating Liberty League opponent Vassar.  Two novice crews competed for the men's team, earning a first and second place finish over RPI.  The women's novice 8 posted a first place finish over RPI, as well.
