Saints Win Liberty League Crown, Top RIT 77-37

Feb. 4:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team opened the game on a 13-0 run and never looked back, clinching the outright 2011-12 Liberty League regular season title with a 77-37 victory over RIT on Saturday afternoon.  The win is the Saints' 14th in a row, as the team improves to 17-4 and 13-0 in the league. 

Capello, Saints Clinch Share of Conference Crown, 78-60, Over Herons

Feb. 3:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team extended its win-streak to 13 games with a 78-60 victory over William Smith in Liberty League action on Friday night.  With the win, the Saints have clinched at least a share of the 2011-12 Liberty League regular season championship, and will win the conference outright with any victory or Vassar loss in the coming weeks. 

Rookies Pace Saints to Victory Over Golden Knights, 65-54

Jan. 31:  First-year students Adriana Spicer and Kara McDuffee recorded 12 points apiece to lead the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team to a 65-54 victory over Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.

Saints Down Bard, 70-33

Jan. 28:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team defeated Bard College by the score of 70-33 on Saturday afternoon in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.  The Saints, who extended their win streak to 11 games with the victory, improved to 10-0 in the Liberty League and 14-4 overall.  Meanwhile, the Raptors remain winless in the league, 0-9, and fall to 1-17. 

Saints Win Tenth Straight with 67-60 Win over Brewers

Jan. 27: The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team held off a second-half comeback attempt by Liberty League opponent Vassar College to pick up a 67-60 victory in Poughkeepsie, NY on Friday night.

Saints Turn Back Thoroughbreds in OT; Extend Win-Streak to Nine

Jan. 24: The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team topped Liberty League opponent Skidmore College in overtime, 55-52, in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Saints Outlast Dutchwomen; Remain Perfect in Liberty League

Jan. 21: The St. Lawrence University women's basketball posted a 10-2 run over the last 7:32 of play, holding off an upset bid by the Union Dutchwomen and taking a 49-47 victory in the Burkman Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Kelly Legg scored nine of her 13 points in the final minutes to propel the Saints out of a six point hole to extend the team's win-streak to eight games.

Saints Top Engineers, 72-56

Jan. 20:  Senior co-captain Katie Edgerton recorded her second double-double of the season to lead the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team to a 72-56 victory over Rensselear in the Burkman Gymnasium on Friday night. 

Canton Hoopsters Join Saints on the Basketball Court

Jan. 17:  The St. Lawrence University women's basketball team hosted the Canton Hoopsters girl's traveling team for a skills clinic on Monday afternoon in Canton, NY.     

Saints Down Herons for Sixth Straight Win

Jan. 14:  St. Lawrence University first-year student Kara McDuffee scored a career-high 18 points, while senior co-captain Katie Edgerton had 18 points and six rebounds to lift the women's basketball team to a 78-63 victory over Liberty League foe William Smith on Saturday afternoon in Geneva, NY.
