Seniors Jack Knych and Jarell Roberts had big days for St. Lawrence University's men's indoor track and field team at the 2012 Liberty League Indoor Championships at the Newell Field House Saturday, but the Saints had to settle for third in the four-team field in the team standings.

2011-12 Indoor: Chris competed in the 300, 400 and 500 and the long and triple jumps. He was third in the long jump in the Saint Indoor Invitational with a collegiate best of 6.22 meters and was seventh in the Liberty League in the triple jump.He also ran on 4x400 and DMR relay teams Outdoor: Chris placed fifth in the 400 hurdles and sixth in the long jump at the Liberty League Championships.

At Franklin Academy
Chris was the MVP in soccer and the Co-MVP in track. He also competed on the swim team. He was a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.

Freshman jumper Jamal Samaroo and senior sprinter Jarell Roberts turned in big performances as St. Lawrence University's men's track team won the eight-team St. Lawrence Indoor Invitational at the Newell Field House Saturday afternoon.

Knych Sets Record as Saints Compete in Ottawa

Jack Knych improved the St. Lawrence record in the 600 meters, had a top ten finish in the 1000 and ran on the 5th place 4x400 relay as the St. Lawrence University men's indoor track team started the 2012 portion of its schedule with competition in the non-scoring Dome Super Saturday Series hosted by the Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club in Ottawa on Saturday.

Samaroo Wins 2 Events, Saints Take Holiday Relay Title

Freshman Jamal Samaroo had an impressive collegiate track debut for St. Lawrence University's men's indoor track and field team, winning two events and helping the Saints to the team title in the annual Holiday Relays at the Newell Field House on Saturday.

A member of the tennis and cross country teams, Brett was first team all league in doubles in tennis. He ran with the cross country team at the Federation meet in his senior year. He was a member of the National Honor Society and earned high honor roll.
