Saints Compete At ITA Regionals

The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team traveled to Saratoga Springs, NY on Friday to compete in the 2010 USTA/ITA Regional Championships hosted by Skidmore College. 

Jackley Advanced To Finals Before Retiring

Sept 19:   Sophomore Philip Jackley was the lone Saint to make it into the final round of the SLU Fall Classic.  

Saints Host Fall Classic

Sept. 18: Three individual Saints and a doubles team advance to the next rounds as the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team hosts the the Fall Classic at the Sammis Tennis Courts. 

Saints Open Season 2-1 in Flower City Tournament

Sept. 14: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team opened the 2010-11 fall season 2-1 at the Flower City Tournament in Rochester.

2011-12:   Burke competed at #5 singles and #2 doubles throughout his sophomore season. 

At Ipswich:  Burke was a two-sport athlete, competing in both tennis and soccer.   In his tenure, he earned both All-Star and Co-Cape Ann Player of the Year honors.  He was also named team MVP twice.  The Ipswich, MA native is a member of the National Honor Society and was on the honor roll all four years of high school.    

Saints Finish 14th in Region, Announce Captains for 2010-11

June 15: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team, fresh off the program's first NCAA Tournament bid, finished the 2009-10 season ranked No. 14 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regional rankings.  It is the highest final ranking the team has achieved in program history.

Saints Fall to #12 Williams 5-1 in Second Round of NCAA Tournament

May 15:  After earning the program's first ever independent bid to the 2010 NCAA Tournament, the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team fell to No. 12 Williams College, 5-1 Saturday, in the Second Round of the Tournament, hosted by Amherst College.  The Saints were given a bye in the first round. 

Four Saints Earn Liberty League All-Conference Honors

May 12:  Four members of the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team earned Liberty League All-Conference Honors, Wednesday.

Saints Earn First Ever Independent Bid to Nationals

May 10:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team earned an independent bid to the 2010 NCAA Tournament Monday, for the first time in program history.  The Saints will play Williams College, who is ranked 3rd in the Northeast region and 12th in the Nation, in the second round of the tournament, as they have a bye in the first round.  The contest will take place at Amherst College Saturday, May 15th.

Saints Regionally-Ranked 14th, Highest in Last Ten Years

April 29:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team moved up three spots in the Northeast regional rankings Friday, to put them 14th overall, the highest ranking in the preceding decade.
