2011-12:   Luchars was a consistent starter for the Saints in his rookie season where he picked up three singles wins and five doubles wins.  

At Brien McMahon
Luchars was a two-sport athlete, participating in soccer and tennis.  Earning All-Area team status as a junior and senior, he was also named to the All-FCIAC second team in 2011.  The Norwalk, CT native was on the honor roll throughout his high school career. 

John Megas '15

The Loomis Chaffee School

At Loomis Chaffee:  Megas was a two-sport athlete, participating in tennis and squash.  A New England Clay Court Doubles Champion in 2008, he earned team MVP status in 2009 and the coaches' award in 2011.  The Longmeadow, MA native was a Founder's League All-Star and an honor roll student.

Wilkey, Hayden Earn All League Honors in Tennis

St. Lawrence University men's tennis players Tony Wilkey and Michael Hayden each earned honorable mention All Liberty League honors, both as singles players and as a doubles team in voting by the league coaches.

Saints Fourth in Liberty League Championships

St. Lawrence University's men's tennis team completed its season with a 7-10 record after finishing fourth in the Liberty League tennis championships at the SLU tennis facilities on Sunday.

Saints Will Play Hobart for 3rd in Liberty League on Sunday

St. Lawrence University's men's tennis team will play for third place in the 2011 Liberty League Championships at the Newell Field House Sunday morning after splitting matches in day one of the tournament on Saturday.

Saints Top Tigers, 5-1

Apr. 23:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team earned a 5-1 victory over RIT on Saturday in Rochester, NY.  The Saints improve to 6-8 while the Tigers fall to 6-7 on the season.

Saints Fall at Hamilton, 8-1

Apr. 19:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to Hamilton College on Tuesday night in Hamilton, NY.  The Saints fall to 5-8 on the season. 

Saints Fall to #50 Big Red

Apr. 17:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team dropped a non-conference match against division 1 foe and nationally ranked No. 50 Cornell, 7-0, in Ithaca, NY.  The Big Red, which earned a share of the Ivy League title for the first time in program history on Sunday, improved to 25-4 on the season, while the Saints fell to 5-7. 

Wilkey, Hayden Ranked No. 9 in Region

April 15:  The duo of senior Tony Wilkey and sophomore Michael Hayden are ranked No. 9 in the Northeast Region in doubles, according to the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings.  They have victories over the regionally ranked No. 4 team of Spencer Chang and Jimmy Sherpa of Skidmore, 9-8(9) and the No. 5 team of Josh Rifkin and Jimmy Newton of Ithaca, 8-5. 

Statesmen Top Saints, 6-3

April 10:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team suffered a 6-3 loss to Hobart College on "Senior Day" in Canton, NY.  The Saints, ranked No. 14 in the Northeast Region, fall to 5-6 on the season, while the Statesmen improve to 6-8.
