Wesleyan Defeats Saints, 9-0

March 14: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team lost to regionally ranked #20 Wesleyan in Kissimmee, FL on Wednesday afternoon.

Ducks Top Saints in Orlando, 9-0

March 13: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to regionally-ranked #12 Stevens Tech on Tuesday in Orlando, FL.

Saints Fall to Thoroughbreds

March 4: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to nationally ranked #30 Skidmore College on Sunday afternoon in the Newell Field House.

Bombers Edge Saints, 5-4

March 3: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team suffered a narrow 5-4 loss to Ithaca College on Saturday evening. The Bombers, ranked No. 17 in the Northeast region, improve to 1-1 overall, while the Saints fall to 0-4 on the season.

Saints Compete at ITA Championships

Sept. 30:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team dropped its opening-round matches at the 2011 USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship, hosted by Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.

2011-12:  Morgan saw limited time in his rookie season and will compete for a spot in the starting lineup next year.  He majors in government at St. Lawrence.  

At Derryfield:  Morgan was a two-sport athlete, participating in tennis and golf.  Captaining his tennis team in his junior and senior seasons, he was an All-State selection in all four years of high school.  The Amherst, NH native also earned "Player of the Year" honors in 2009, 2010 and 2011.  Academically, he was an honor roll student throughout his high school career.  

Saints Compete in Final Day of Fall Classic

Sept. 18:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team competed in the final day of the 2011 SLU Fall Classic on Sunday.  Junior Tom Timpone and first-year student Sam Mullin were narrowly defeated by RIT's Alex Russin and Adam Wolf by the score of 8-6 in the "B" flight doubles final.

Saints Host 2011 Fall Classic

Sept 18: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team competed in the first day of the 2011 SLU Fall Classic.  Sophomore Matt Burke and first-year student Sam Mullin both battled back from one set down to defeat their opponents in the quarterfinals of the "B" and "C" flights, respectively.

Young Saints Open Season at Flower City Tournament

Sept. 11:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team lost its third consecutive match of the weekend, 5-3, to RIT on Sunday morning in the 2011 Flower City Tournament seventh place match.

2011-12:   Shortz competed at #2 and #3 singles and #2 doubles throughout the season.  An economics and communications major at St. Lawrence, he is a member of the Investment club and was nominated for the Outstanding First-Year Student award.   

At Valley Regional:  Shortz was a two-sport athlete, participating in tennis and soccer.  A captain for two years, he was a four-time team MVP and was named to the All-Conference first team three years in a row.  Academically, the Chester, CT native is a US Senate Page and was a member of the high honor roll.
