Lawrence University men's and women's tennis teams announced the captains for
the upcoming 2012-13 season. Seniors
Michael Hayden and Tom Timpone will represent the men's team as co-captains in
the fall, while senior Shannon Murphy will captain the women's team.
April 28: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team's season came to an end on Saturday with a 5-0 loss to third-seeded Hobart in the first round match of the Liberty League Men's Tennis Tournament in Geneva, NY.
April 22: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team earned a 5-4 win over Nazareth College in Pittsford, NY on Sunday afternoon. Down 4-3, the final two singles matches come out on top to secure the victory.
April 15: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team dropped a Liberty League match against opponent Rensselaer by the score of 6-3 on Sunday evening.
April 14: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team was defeated by regionally ranked No. 18 the University of Rochester, 8-1, in Canton, NY on Saturday.
March 31: The St.
Lawrence University men's tennis team was blanked by two regionally ranked
teams on the weekend in Geneva, NY. The
Saints were defeated by NYU on Friday before they fell to Liberty League
opponent Hobart on Saturday.
March 24: The St.
Lawrence University men's tennis team was defeated by Vassar College on
Saturday afternoon, 9-0, in Poughkeepsie, NY.
The Brewers, ranked #11 in the Northeast Region, improved to 8-6, while
the Saints fell to 1-9 on the season.
March 17: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team ended its spring trip to Orlando
on a positive note, as it picked up its first win of the season with an 8-1
victory over Mount St. Mary on Friday afternoon.
