Saints Compete in Final Day of SLU Fall Classic


Sept. 15-16:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team completed day two of the SLU Fall Classic on Sunday.  The Saints, who are 2-1 on the season, will be back in action on Sept. 28 and 29 when they compete at the ITA Championships in Ithaca, NY.

Saints Third at Flower City with 5-4 Victory Over Red Dragons

Sep. 9:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team capped its season-opening weekend with a 5-4 victory over Oneonta State to take third place at the Flower City Tournament in Rochester, NY.  Senior Tom Timpone clinched the win for the Saints when his opponent retired down 4-0 in the third set.

Saints Fall to Red Hawks in Semifinal, 5-3

Sep. 8:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team lost a close match against Robert Wesleyan on Saturday by the score of 5-3 in the semifinal match of the Flower City Tournament. 

Saints Top Engineers 5-4 to Open 2012 Campaign

Sep. 8:  The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team opened its 2012 campaign with a 5-4 victory over Rensselaer at the Flower City Tournament in Rochester, NY.  The Saints swept the competition in doubles to take a 3-0 lead, then worked hard to hold off a very solid singles Engineers team to earn their first victory of the season.

Scotia-Glenville

At Scotia-Glenville:  A captain of the tennis team, he earned Foothills Council First Team honors.  The Scotia, NY native is a member of the National Honor Society and was a high honor roll student. 

Rhonny Rosario '16

Boston Latin School

At Boston Latin:  A captain of the tennis team, he was a league All-Star and earn earned the team MVP and Coaches Award.  The Boston, MA native was also an honor roll student. 

Paul Barrett '16

Pittsford, NY
Pittsford Mendon

At Pittsford Mendon:  A three-time MVP of the tennis squad, he was an All-Greater Rochester selection in '09, '10 and '12 and participated in the state tournament those same years.  The Pittsford, NY native, who owns the most wins in his high school's history, was also an honor roll student. 

Greg Kreitzer

Greg Kreitzer, a four-year member of the Hamilton tennis team, joined the Saints tennis staff in the fall of 2012 after serving as the men's and women's assistant coach at Allegheny College.

A two-time captain for the Continentals, Kreitzer compiled the fourth most wins for doubles in the school's history.  In his senior season, he was named to the NESCAC All-Academic and All-Sportsmanship teams, and was also an ITA Scholar Athlete. 

Kreitzer participated in several charity events as an underclassman, and also served as a summer Camp Counselor and Unit Head at Camp Seneca Lake in Penn Yan, NY.  He is also a Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) certified professional in Adult Development.  

A 2011 graduate from Hamilton, he earned his B.A. in economics and communications.
