Abribat, Moffitt Win Individual Titles, Saints 3rd in Liberty League

Dec. 1: Senior Casey Abribat won the Liberty League championship in the 400 individual medley, sophomore Sammi Moffitt won the 200 back in a record time and the Saint women's swim team matched its best finish in Liberty League history with a third as the 2012 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships concluded at RIT Saturday evening

Moffitt Sets Record, Saints 4th after Day 1 of Liberty League Championship

Nov. 30: St. Lawrence University sophomore Sammi Moffitt trimmed .47 off the Saint record in the 200 individual medley and the women's swim team had two third place relay finishes to highlight day one of the 2012 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by RIT on Friday.

RIT Edges Saint Women, Tops Men in Dual Meets

Nov. 10: St. Lawrence University's women's swim team took its dual meet against the Rochester Institute of Technology down to the final event before sustaining a one-point loss while Tad Deatly was a double winner in distance freestyle races as the Saint men also fell at RIT on Saturday.

2012-13: Carly had an outstanding rookie season for the Saints, competing in the freestyle sprints, 100 back and the butterfly in addition to swimming on relays. She was second among Saint rookies in scoirng with 135 points and had five second place finishes in individual events. She turned in her best times in the butterfly in the season-ending UNYSSA Championships and was part of the Saint 200 and 400 free relay and 400 medley relay teams in the same meet.

Carly Berizzi was a member of the swimming, lacrosse and crew teams at Darien High School and earned the coaches award for swimming.

Rettstatt Paces Saint Women's Win at Clarkson

Nov. 1: St. Lawrence University's women's swimming and diving team won the first 10 events in Friday's dual meet at Clarkson and had the top time in the other two contested events swimming exhibition as the Saints improved to 2-1 on the season with a 134.5-66.5 win over the Golden Knights. Clarkson gained a split on the afternoon, winning the men's meet 128-71.

Moffitt Wins 2 More, But Nazareth Sweeps Dual Meet

Oct. 27: While sophomore Samantha Moffitt finished off a big opening weekend for the St. Lawrence University women's swim team with a pair of individual wins and strong legs on two second place relays, the Saints had to settle for a split of their opening dual meet weekend as Nazareth College swept Saturday competition with a 179-108 win over the Saint women and a 185-78 victory over the Saint men.

2012-13: Nicole competed in the free and fly in her rookie season and was a member of the 400 and 800 free relays. She scored 55 points with a second and four thirds in individual events in addition to her relays.

Nicole was a member of the swim, lacrosse and track teams at Livonia High School and earned Rookie of the Year, MVP and County All Star honors. She was a team captain and Sectional champion and was a member of the National Honor Society. She also earned high honor roll honors and was an AP Scholar with Honors.

2012-13: Nicole was a consistent contributor in the diving events for the Saints, compiling 80 points in her rookie season with six firsts, a second and three thirds. She had her season high point production on the 11-dive three meter program in the UNYSCSA Championlships.

Nicole participated in dance and played lacrosse in high school. She won the Unsung Hero award for the lacrosse team and was a National Honor Society member, earning high honor roll and honor roll during her high school career.
