Brenton Jones scored his second goal of the season early in the first half and St. Lawrence University's men's soccer team completed just the third undefeated, untied regular season in program history with a 1-0 win at arch-rival Clarkson Saturday afternoon.

St. Lawrence University's men's soccer game at Clarkson, originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, has been changed to a 1 p.m. start.

A key part of the success of St. Lawrence University's top-ranked men's soccer team in the 2011 season has been the involvement of its backs in starting the offense.

Oct. 15: The nationally-ranked No. 1 St. Lawrence University men's soccer team survived Liberty League opponent Rensselaer 1-0 on a soggy afternoon at Sandy MacAllaster Field in Canton, NY. First-year student Jamal Samaroo scored the lone goal less than ten minutes into the second half, extending the Saints' win-streak to 13 games.

Oct. 14: The nationally-ranked No. 1 St. Lawrence University men's soccer team extended their shutout streak to eight games on Friday afternoon, as the Saints defeated Union College, ranked 18th in the national polls, by the score of 2-0 at Sandy MacAllaster Field.

St. Lawrence University's men's soccer team passed its biggest test thus far with flying colors Saturday, beating Liberty League rival Hobart 3-0 on the road to improve to 11-0-0 overall and 4-0-0 in league play.
