A Note from Frank Mittiga, 2012

Dear Members,
An early spring has given us the opportunity to get to the first tee for one of the earliest openings in course history and we are looking forward to a long and enjoyable season!  Mary,  Sandy, Ron PGA Assistant Craig Siddon and I are hoping this golf season will be as fabulous as it was in 2011. Jim Hennessey again says the course has wintered well, and with the help of his crew and some new equipment, it will be in excellent condition!

We do have a few changes to report regarding the member scrambles on the weekends.  The opening scramble will sign in on Saturdays and Sundays at 6:30am with a 6:45am starting time.  The second scramble, otherwise known as the "Duck" Scramble, will sign-in at 7:3 am and will beginning teeing off at 7:45 am. 

The pro shop is officially up and running, and the course opened on Friday March 23!  The Best Western will be running the snack bar again this year.

I am very excited and determined to make the 2012 summer an enjoyable one for each of you.  I look forward to seeing you all and having another successful season!
