#11 Panthers Sweep Saints

Brigitte Tousignant '15 won the Saints' lone game against Middlebury before falling 3-1.

Feb. 6:  The St. Lawrence University women's squash team, ranked #28 nationally, was swept #11 Middlebury, 9-0, in the Robie Squash Courts on Wednesday night.  The Saints, who fall to 4-10 on the season, also celebrated the last home matches for the team's seniors Frances Robinson and Corey McHugh.  Meanwhile, the Panthers improve to 13-4. 

The Panthers earned 3-0 sweeps at two through nine en route to the victory.  Brigitte Tousignant won the lone game for the Saints as she cut the score to 2-1 before Charlotte Dewey took the match 3-1 (11-3, 11-4, 5-11, 11-7).

St. Lawrence will next travel to Brunswick, Maine for the DIII Invitational on Feb. 8-11.
