2012: Werner anchored
the Saints' defense that posted a program record five consecutive shutouts
before her season ended prematurely due to injury. The Simsbury, CT native earned Liberty League
Honorable Mention honors and was also named to the All-Academic Team for the
second consecutive season. She is a member of the Tri-Delta sorority and Circle K.
2011: Corine again played a key role in the success of the Saint defense which limited the opposition to 0.95 goals per game. She started all 17 games for the Saints. A psychology major, she earned Liberty League All Academic honors.
2010: An outstanding defender, Corinne played in all 18 games and started 14 for the Saints. She was a key contributor to a defensive unit with allowed only 0.91 goals per game, one of the best team goals against averages in program history.
At Westminster School: Werner was a
three-sport varsity athlete, participating in basketball,
softball and soccer. She was named a
WWNEPSSA Large School All-League Player in 2010, and captained all three varsity
sports she participated in during the 2009-2010 seasons.
