Saints add Lauren Cobb as Assistant Coach for 2013

Sept. 17: St. Lawrence University has hired Lauren Cobb to work as an assistant women's lacrosse coach for the upcoming 2013 season.
Cobb was a Division I scholarship lacrosse player at Marist, where she graduated last spring with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She was a Dean's List student and earned All-Academic honors from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Lauren was a member of the 2010 MAAC championship team, which made Marist's first NCAA Tournament appearance in women's lacrosse.
"Lauren was an outstanding student-athlete and is an excellent addition to our coaching staff," said St. Lawrence head coach Jodi Canfield. "She will absolutely hit the ground running and will help prepare us for a successful 2013 season."
Cobb served as an instructor at the Marist Women's Lacrosse Camp for two years, teaching girls lacrosse skills in the summer. She also tutored middle and high school students in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club of Syracuse and volunteered for the Salvation Army.
