2012: VanTassel became a key scoring threat for St. Lawrence in her sophomore year, as she led the team with 16 assists. A member of the Liberty League's All-Academic team, she totaled 27 points, fourth on the roster, including a career-high six-point outing in a win over Potsdam State (2g,4a).
2011: VanTassel saw time in three games for the Saints and totaled one goal, one assist and a ground ball. A member of the sophomore class council and the Singing Sinners, she is majoring in government and environmental studies at St. Lawrence.
At South Jefferson
VanTassel was a stand-out student-athlete, earning awards for Lacrosse, Cross Country and Track and Field while being inducted into the National Honor Society. The Adams Center, NY native earned All-Star lacrosse status and was the recipient of the "Exceptional Senior Award" for her play. VanTassel was also a three-time state qualifier for Track and Field.
