2011-12: MacDonald had a brilliant first season for St. Lawrence, earning ECAC Hockey Tournament MVP honors after dazzling performances in the post-season. She finished with a .929 save percentage and a 1.99 goals against average, earning All-Rookie honors. Carmen posted six shutouts, had nine games with 30+ saves, and had a .958 save percentage in the ECAC Hockey playoffs.
Pre-St. Lawrence
MacDonald was a part of the 2010 and 2011 New England
champions at the Westminster School. The
Pictou, NS native, who was also a field hockey and softball player, was also a
member of the 2010 Hockey Canada U-18 World Championship winning team. Born December 4, 1992, Carmen is the daughter
of Allan and Kelly MacDonald.
