2011-12: Fernandez continued to impress in her junior campaign, matching her career-high in points (26) while reaching a new pinnacle in goals (9). She had posted six multi-point games and had the game-winner at Dartmouth in the regular season, and was named to the All-Tournament team after the Saints won the conference crown for the first time in program history. Brooke was also an ECAC Hockey's Third Team defenseman and earned All-Academic honors from the conference as well.
2010-11: Fernandez had a breakout sophomore year at the blue line for St. Lawrence, she she had one of the best offensive years by a defenseman in SLU history. The Bloomfield, CT native totaled 26 points on the year and earned top-5 rankings in the record book for points, goals and assists in a season by a defenseman. A member of ECAC Hockey's All-Academic team, Brooke had two game-winning goals (BC, Union) and had a career-high four point outing against Union (2g,2a).
2009-10: Fernandez had a solid first season at the blue line for the Saints, totaling seven points on two goals and five assists. The Bloomfield, CT native had one power play tally and earned a spot on the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team.
Fernandez was invited to three US National Camps (2006-2008) and was the 2008-09 New England Prep Player of the Year while captaining both the Connecticut Polar Bears and Loomis Chaffee School. In 22 games with Loomis Chaffee, Fernandez scored 15 goals and tallied 15 assists for 30 points, helping her to win the school's Athlete of the Year award for the second consecutive year. The daughter of David and Cathie Fernandez, Brooke was born on April 7, 1991.
