Caligiore Ties for 7th at Williams Invitational

Aimee Caligiore tied for 7th at Williams

Sophomore Aimee Caligiore tied for seventh with rounds of 80 and 82 for a 162 total at the Taconic Golf Course at Williams College to highlight the performance of the Saint women's golf team at the Williams Invitational.

Caligiore, who is in contention for a individual NCAA tournament bid, recorded her second straight top ten finish in the spring and her seventh of the year at Williams. She was medalist at both the St. Lawrence Invitational and the ECAC Championships and was in the top ten in seven of eight tournaments...finishing one spot out in 11th at Vassar in the first match of the spring.

St. Lawrence was fifth as a team in the seven-team field, shooting 365 on Saturday and 346 on Sunday for a 659 total, one stroke behind third-place Middlebury and three behind second place Vassar. Host Williams shot rounds of 304 and 327 for a 631 total and a 25 shot win.

Alair Muzzatti shot rounds of 80 and 80 and finished 18th for the Saints while Kerrin Ernsbeck shot 89 and 90 for a 179 total and was 22nd. Kelly Hale completed the Saint scoring with rounds of 106 and 94 for a 200 total, finishing 31st and Caroline Cushman was 36th as the fifth Saint golfer.
