Saints Conclude Fall Season at Head of the Fish

Oct. 30:  The St. Lawrence University women's crew team concluded its fall season at the Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga, NY on Saturday. 

The varsity eight negotiated the 3,400 meter course in 12:34.13, earning a ninth place finish out of 17.  Less than seven seconds separated the Saints from fifth place Ithaca.  Williams took the top spot, while William Smith, Connecticut, and Wesleyan rounded out the top four.      

In the Novice 8+ event, the Saints earned a fourth place finish with a time of 13:41.04.  Marist finished first, while Williams and Ithaca were second and third, respectively. 

The varsity 4+ also earned a fourth place finish in its event, powering through the course in 13:36.77.  Williams won the event, while Marist and UMass rounded out the top three.    

In the novice 4+ event, the Saints finished in 17th place with a time of 17:30.38.
