Katie Palmer '09 was named an ECAC All-Star.

Apr. 20: Senior forward Katie Palmer continued to rake in the postseason accolades as she was named to the 2008-09 ECAC Division III Upstate Second Team in early April, honoring her accomplishments for her final campaign as a Saint.

Palmer (Bourne, MA/Falmouth Academy) recorded a career-high 470 points in her senior season, bringing her four-year total to 1353, reaching the 1,000-point milestone against Oswego in early January. The forward also recorded a career high 186 rebounds to reach 530 career boards, placing her in a very elite group of Saints who reached both 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in four years.

In 2008-09, Palmer paced the Saints to a 19-8 overall mark that included the team's second straight Liberty League Tournament title and the squad's third consecutive berth in the NCAA Tournament. In the conference title game, she recorded a career-high 38 points, breaking the previous program record for most points scored in a single game. Palmer is a three-time Liberty League First Team selection, leading all players in points this past season, and was also named to the All-Academic Team for the third straight year. In 2007, she was the conference's Player of the Year and was a Regional All-American.

Palmer was one of two Liberty League players to earn the honor. Ten players were named ECAC All-Stars.
