St. Lawrence University's men's and women's indoor track and field programs are each ranked in the top ten nationally in week three of the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III polls.

In the rankings released February 3, the Saint men jumped into the tenth spot in the 25-team poll after being unranked in the previous poll. They are second among New York State teams with SUNY Geneseo currently ranking third nationally. The Saint women are the top New York State team in the women's poll and are currently ninth, up one spot from the previous poll.

The Saints will run at Syracuse Saturday prior to hosting the Liberty League Championships at the Newell Field House on Feb. 13.

Four members of the Saint track teams are among the top athletes in their events nationally and have been dominant in Liberty League weekly awards. Dan Ramsey ranks second nationally among those men who have met NCAA provisional qualifying in the 5000 meters and earned his third Liberty League Track Performer of the Week award after running 14:29.56 at the Terrier Invitational last weekend. Wendy Pavlus ranks first in the 5000 meters after running 17:07.04 in the Terrier Invitational and was Liberty League Track Performer of the Week for the third time last weekend, while senior Alyssa Pirinelli has been Liberty League Field Performer of the Week after each weekend of competition this season and ranks first nationally in the shot put and fifth nationally in the weight throw.
