Devon Shatkin was named ECAC Offensive Player of the Week

Two Saint women's soccer players were honored for their outstanding performance in last weekend's 2-1 upset of nationally 8th ranked Ithaca College as sophomores Devon Shatkin and Abby van Geldern were recognized by both the Liberty League and the ECAC.

Shatkin, who scored the winning goal on a header and turned in an outstanding defensive effort was recognized as Offensive Player of the Week by the Liberty League and was selected the ECAC Upstate Offensive Player of the Week, while van Geldern was the Liberty League and ECAC Upstate Defensive Player of the Week after a 13-save performance which included nine saves in the first half.
