The Class of 2012 beat Brown 3-1 in their last regular season game at Appleton Arena.

Feb. 4: The St. Lawrence University women's hockey team delivered a solid performance in its final regular season game at Appleton Arena on Saturday, defeating Brown University 3-1 on "Senior Day." Senior Vanessa Emond scored the game-winning goal, while classmate Alley Bero added an assist in the third period.

Dec. 16: St. Lawrence University Associate Professor of Statistics, Dr. Michael Schuckers, was featured today on Inside Higher Ed, WAMC public radio in Albany and a variety of public stations throughout the country. Dr. Schuckers undertook a statistical analysis of shootouts in the National Hockey League and the statistics surrounding both the shooters and goaltenders. CANTON - Even though she was a member of an opposing team, members of the St. Lawrence University women's ice hockey team wanted to do something to help Yale player Mandi Schwartz battle leukemia, so they planned an event to encourage enrollment in a national bone-marrow registry. Schwartz passed away on April 3, but to honor her memory, their planned "Be The Match" event will go on at St. Lawrence, on Monday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Winston Room of Sullivan Student Center.
