2010-11: Belanger scored her first collegiate goal against nationally-ranked Cornell while chipping in three assists throughout the season as well (UNH, BC, Dartmouth).  A member of ECAC Hockey's All-Academic team, she remained one of St. Lawrence's most consistent and disciplined defensemen.

2009-10:
Belanger continued to be a steady defensive presence for St. Lawrence in her sophomore season.  The Sudbury, ON native, who earned a spot on the Dean's List and ECAC Hockey All-Academic team, had two assists in 35 games.

2008-09:
Belanger played in 32 games at the point for St. Lawrence in her first season.  The Sudbury, ON native picked up a pair of assists in the home contests versus Cornell and Rensselaer.  Belanger also showed promise in the classroom, as she earned ECAC Hockey All-Academic honors as a first-year student.

Pre-St.Lawrence

Using her size and skill, Josee has become one of the top young defensemen in the province of Ontario. The Sudbury, ON native skated for three seasons with the Sudbury Lady Wolves Intermediate AA Team before being selected to the U-18 Team Ontario Red. She is the recipient of both the Colin Hood Award and the Lise Davis Award. Born September 18, 1990, Josee is the daughter of Pierre Elliot and Lorraine Belanger.
