2010-11: Emard returned from injury and had an excellent senior season, totaling 21 points while serving as one of the squad's assistant captains.  An outstanding contributor on both ends of the ice, Karell had two power play goals, two game-winners (Niagara, RPI) and two four-game point streaks.  Emard is expected to return as a graduate student for the 2011-12 campaign.

2009-10:
Emard suffered an injury in the Saints' exhibition game against McGill and was only able to play in seven of the team's regular season contests.  The Venise en Quebec, QC native will be back to full strength in 2010-2011 and was voted to serve as one of the squad's three assistant captains.

2008-09:
Emard emerged as one of the team's premier offensive talents in her second season. The Richelieu, QC native doubled her goal-scoring numbers from her rookie year, totaling 10 in 2008-09. Her hard slap-shot made her a commodity on the power play and her defensive efforts helped shut down opponents' top forwards. Emard scored her first career game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Quinnipiac on November 22, 2008.

2007-08:
Emard made an immediate impact for the Saints in her rookie season, landing both the team's "Rookie of the Year" honor as well as a spot on ECAC Hockey's All-Rookie Team. The Richelieu, Quebec native tallied 24 points on five goals and 19 assists as a first year student, finishing eighth on the team in scoring. Karell added great speed and talent to the third line, helping make her unit an offensive threat.

Pre-St. Lawrence

Emard earned All-Tournament honors at the Chowder Cup in Boston last summer, and had an oustanding career with the Dawson College Blues. With the Blues, Emard was named both captain and MVP of the team, but also earned MVP honors of the Collegial AA League. The Richelieu, Quebec native was the Female Athlete of the Year at Dawson College in 2006-07, and served as captain for Team Quebec in November 2005. Born April 18th, 1988, she is the daughter of Jean-Guy Emard and Josee Bessette.
