2010-11: Emond continued to impress on the offensive end of the ice in her junior year, compiling 25 points on 14 goals and 11 assists. The Levis, QC native tied for the team lead in power play goals (4) and added game-winners against Brown and Clarkson. Vanessa was also named to ECAC Hockey's All-Academic team for the third consecutive year.
2009-10: Emond had a breakout year for the Saints, as she led the team in goals (17) and scoring (33 points). The Levis, QC native, who is majoring in Performance and Communication Arts, had three short-handed goals and two power play tallies. Emond, who had the game-winners against Yale (10/30) and Clarkson (2/27), earned a spot on the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team for the second straight year.
2008-09: Vanessa added a skilled center to St. Lawrence's balanced offensive attack. The Levis, QC native was fourth on the team with 15 assists in her rookie year, finishing with a total of 21 points. Emond registered her first career multi-point game in a 4-3 win over Clarkson in game one of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals and earned a spot on the conference's All-Academic Team.
Pre-St.Lawrence
Emond joins the Saints' offensive attack after playing at Dawson College (CJEP) each of the past two seasons. The Levis, QC native posted fantastic numbers for the Blues, scoring 75 points in her first year (45g,30a) and 65 last season (34g,31a). She was named the Most Valuable Player of her team during her final season and represented Team Quebec twice. Vanessa was born on May 30, 1989 and is the daughter of Paul Emond and Julie Gagnon.
