Muzzatti Leads Saints in Final Fall Tourney

Alair Muzzatti led the Saints with a 84 at Williams on Sunday

 

St. Lawrence University's women's golf team concluded the fall portion of its season with a third place finish in round one of the Williams Invitational on Sunday.

While the event continued into Monday, the Saints opted out of the second day of competition due to academic commitments.

The Saints, ranked eighth in the most recent GolfStat rankings, shot a best-of-four total of 341 on the 5806 yard Taconic Golf Course, trailing Amherst, fourth nationally, by 13 strokes and Williams, ranked sixth nationally, by five.

Alair Muzzatti led the Saints with a round of 84 and was tied for ninth in first round play. Melissa Snizek shot 85 and tied for 14th while Aimee Caligiore and Kristin Berretta each shot 86 and tied for 17th.
