Saint Women's Golf Team Ranked 6th Nationally

Alair Muzzatti ranks 21st nationally in par four scoring

St. Lawrence University's women's golf team has jumped up to sixth in the NCAA Division III rankings as compiled by GolfStat, the highest ranking in Saint program history.

St. Lawrence went into last weekend's Mt. Holyoke Invitational ranked 11th in Division III, trailing Amherst (5th) and Williams (6th) among other Eastern teams in the weekly rankings. The Saints won the invitational by 12 strokes over second place Amherst and 24 over third place Williams to account for their leap in the national rankings. The Saints are the top Northeastern team in the rankings which are led by defending national champion Methodist.

Saint junior Alair Muzzatti is ranked 21st nationally in par four scoring with a 4.44 average and 19th in sub-par strokes per round. The Saint team is tenth nationally in par five scoring average. A total of 92 teams appear in the GolfStat rankings.
