Dan Roiger was named the head women's basketball coach at St. Lawrence University in the summer of 2009 after serving as the head women’s basketball coach at Northland (WI) College five years. Roiger was a two-time winner of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year award (2007, 2009).
Roiger, in his 13th season as a college coach has guided the Saints to a second place (2009-10) and a first place (2010-11) finish in the Liberty League in his first two seasons. In those two seasons, the Saints own the best record in the Liberty League at 20-8 and are the only team to make the playoffs in both seasons. Overall, the Saints are 37-13 under Roiger, having finished 18-7 in his first year and 19-6 this past season, despite not having a senior on the team and a roster of nine freshmen. Roiger has coached five players named to the Liberty League All-Conference teams and has had 70% of his eligible players earn Academic All-Conference from the league.
Prior to St. Lawrence, Roiger was an assistant at Carleton College (MN) for five years and a head coach at Northland (WI) College for five years. Roiger was a two-time winner of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year award (2007, 2009) and led the team to four playoff appearances, a regular season title, and a conference playoff title.

Aliza Bogdanich, a former Saints captain, joined the St. Lawrence University athletic staff in the fall of 2011 as the assistant coach of the women's basketball program.
A 2004 graduate of St. Lawrence, Bogdanich earned a multitude of accolades over her four-year career with the Saints. A 1,000 point scorer, the Lyme, NH native earned a spot on the D3Hoops.com All-East Region team and was also named the Liberty League Player of the Year in 2004. In her first season, she was part of a Saints team that was the NCAA Division III runner-up.
Bogdanich returned to her alma mater after serving as the assistant women's basketball coach at Morrisville State College. Prior to her one-year stint with the Mustangs, she instructed math at The Foreman School in Litchfield, CT from 2005-2010, where was also the head women's varsity basketball and volleyball coach.

Daniel Hernandez will serve as the 2010-11 Women's Basketball Faculty/Staff Mentor.
Hernandez is the Associate Director of Counseling Services in the Diana B. Torrey '82 Health and Counseling Center. Originally from Sacramento, CA, he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at San Jose State. Early on in his career he did an assistantship at the Shrine Hospital in the Bay Area in California, working with children who were diagnosed with a terminal disease.
"After experiencing my first death, of an 11-year-old girl, and working with her family, I knew then that this was the field that I wanted to pursue," said Hernandez. "In addition, I have a love for teaching and sharing my clinical experience with graduate students who have a passion and desire to help people."
Hernandez regularly runs workshops at St. Lawrence on issues surrounding the loss of loved ones and also teaches EDPS 523 (Aging, Death, and Bereavement Counseling) and supervises graduate students in the counseling practicum at the Torrey Health Center.
