Saints Sweep Union 3-0 in Final Match of Conference Tournament

Nov. 7: The St. Lawrence University volleyball team, now 30-8, swept Union College 3-0 in the final match of the Liberty League Tournament Saturday afternoon.
The Dutchwomen played the Saints to a tight first game, but the Scarlet and Brown pulled through with a 25-21 win. The Saints were on fire in the second set, dropping Union 25-6. In game three, the Dutchwomen played tough at the net, but St. Lawrence secured the win with another 25-21 victory.
Senior Jessica Lucky racked up seven kills and 18 digs for the Saints, while sophomore Nyasha Miller and first-year Alexandra Kamakas trailed with six kills. Junior Abigail Rose accumulated 26 assists for the Saints and sophomore Katherine Pierce tallied 16 digs.
The conference tournament ends regular season competition for the Saints.
