Saints Fall to Clarkson University 3-1 in 3rd Match of Conference Tournament

Nov. 7:  The St. Lawrence University Volleyball team fell to North Country Rival, Clarkson University, 3-1 in the third match of the Liberty League Tournament at Vassar College Saturday.

The Saints played the Golden Knights in four close games.  Clarkson picked up the win 25-23 in the first set and 25-22 in the second, but the Scarlet and Brown put up a solid fight.  In game three, the Saints picked up their offensive pressure and pulled through with a 25-21 win.  The Golden Knights sealed the deal in game four with a 25-16 win.

Junior Lauren Drozynski led the Saints in kills with 11, while sophomore Nyasha Miller and first-year Alexandra Kamakas trailed with 10.  Junior Abigail Rose tallied 42 assists, five service aces and 20 digs, as senior Jessica Lucky picked up 22 digs.

The Saints play Union College at 1:00 pm this afternoon for their last match of the conference tournament.
