Saints Fall in Four at Potsdam

Oct. 31: The Saints and Potsdam split their first two games in a volleyball match in Potsdam on Friday night, but the Bears won a close game three and went on to a 3-1 win over St. Lawrence, denying the Saints a record-setting 26th win.
St. Lawrence, 25-10, will host SUNY IT in the final match of the regular season at 1:30 on Saturday.
Potsdam won game one of Friday's match 25-16, but the Saints came back with a 25-23 win in game two. Potsdam then won game three 25-23 and closed the match out with a 25-18 win in game four.
Nyasha Miller had 10 kills for the Saints and Marta Johann had seven kills with no errors. Defensively, Megan McNiven led with 15 digs while Abby Rose and Jess Lucky added 12 each.
