Casey Abribat '13

2012-13: Casey capped an outstanding Saint career with a Liberty Leagueindividual championship in the 400 IM and was the second-leading point scorer for the Saints with 270.75 points which included 12 firsts, a second and two thirds. She turned in career best times in the 400 IM with her 4:41.54 in the Liberty League Championships and in the100 breasstroke in 1:14.72, the 100 fly in 1:04.04 and the 200 fly in 2:13.50. She was also a key contributor on relays, swimming the lead leg on the 200 and 400 medley relays and swimming the 200 free relay.

2011-12:  Abribat continued her outstanding performance in her junior season  as she finished in the top two in 13 of the 14 individual dual meet races she participated in.  After helping the women's team to its best finish in the program's history (3rd), she broke three individual program records and helped her 400 medley relay team to a record-setting mark with their seventh place finish at States.  The Warwick, NY native placed second in the 200 back at Liberty Leagues and then eighth in the 200 IM at States.  A major in history, she earned Academic All-Conference honors for her efforts in the classroom and was named to the Dean's List in the fall. 

2010-11:   Abribat had an outstanding sophomore season with the Saints as she established two new University records in the 200 IM and 200 back.  The Warwick, NY native earned two third place finishes at the Liberty League championships and earned All-Academic honors.   

2009-10: Casey had a stand-out rookie season as a mid-distance swimmer.  She was a major point contributor in both the individual and relay events.  The Warwick, NY native earned three collegiate best times in the 100 Yard Backstroke, the 200 Yard Backstroke and the 200 Yard IM.  At the 2009 Liberty League Championships, Casey earned two 10th place finishes in the 100 Back and the 200 Back.  She also helped the Saints to a 5th place finish in the 200 Medley Relay.  Casey went on to swim impressively at the UNYSCSA Championships, earning 16th in the 200 IM.  She helped the B team finish 24th in the 200 Free Relay, and contributed to the Saints 10th place finish in the 400 Medley Relay.

At Warwick Valley
Casey was a two-sport athlete, competing in both swimming and skiing.  She was a three-time captain of her swim team.  Casey was a four-time NYS meet qualifier, and a two-time MVP.  Casey was also a two-time Speedo Sectional Qualifier and a six-time scholar athlete.
