2012: Plimpton proved a key addition to the Saints pitching staff in her rookie season. The Williamsville, NY native earned First Team All-Conference honors as she went 12-5 on the season and set several single-season pitching records. Ranked 11th among the division III leaders in strikeouts per seven innings and 10th in saves, she also finished the season at 33rd in strikeouts with 172 and pitched the program's first ever perfect game. Plimpton, an English major at SLU, earned Liberty League Pitcher of the Week honors twice and Rookie of the Week honors once during the season.
At Williamsville South: Plimpton was a three-sport athlete, participating in field hockey, indoor track and softball. A captain of the softball team for three years, she was named Most Valuable Player four times and also earned All-Western New York honors. The Williamsville, NY native is a member of the National Honor Society and was an honor roll student.
