Koivu, Snyder Place at IHSA Nationals

Suzanne Snyder finished 13th among 27 riders in the Cacchione Cup competition

St. Lawrence University juniors Jordan Koivu and Suzanne Snyder each had solid showings at the 2010 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championship Show at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY last weekend.

Koivu finished 10^th in the individual competition in Open Equitation over Fences. Koivu was riding in her first national championship show and was Zone 2 Champion in open fences.

Snyder, the regional high point champion finished 13^th of 27 riders in the Cacchione Cup competition which features each regional high point rider from across the nation. She finished 16^th in phase one of the competition with 78.5 points and was 14^th in phase two with 87 points with her overall point total of 165.5 placing 13^th in the final standings.
