Abby Cook was high point rider in both weekend shows, winning four events.

The Saint riding team opened the 2009-10 season with a team victory in the first show of the year and turned in some strong individual performances in a second show on Sunday despite missing a top-three team finish.

St. Lawrence won the RIT Show at Lehman Farms on Saturday to get the season off on the right foot, outpointing second place Cazenovia 39-37.

Sophomore Abby Cook was the high point rider in both shows on the weekend, winning the Open over Fences competition and the Intermediate Flat blue ribbon in Saturday's show. She won both Open Fences and Open Flat in Sunday's competition hosted by Geneseo at Lehman Farms.

Other blue ribbon winners in the RIT Show included junior Susan Snyder in Open Fences, sophomore Jordan Koivu in Open Fences and Novice Flat, senior Taylor Clark in Intermediate Fences and first-year Casey Zuraitis in Intermediate Fences. First Year Emma Casey Jones won her class of Novice on the Flat and junior Amber Latza was first in Walk-Trot competition on Saturday.

In Sunday's competition, Hadley Deming won Intermediate on the Flat, Jones was the winner in Novice on the Flat and first-year Lilly Dorris won her class of Novice on the Flat to join Cook as blue ribbon winners.

The Saints will return to Lehman Farms for the Nazareth Show and a second Geneseo show on Nov. 14-15.
