At Champlain Valley Union
Searles competed for the Nordic ski, soccer and track and field teams. A member of the National Honor Society and a High Honor student, she was a three-year All-State honoree for Nordic and was a two-time MVP. Searles won the state title in the classic race and was second overall in skate.
