4x100 Finishes Third at ECAC Championships

St. Lawrence University's 4x100 relay of Adrian Wilson, Jarell Roberts, Omaru Kabia and Jamal Samaroo ran 41.98 seconds and finished third at the 2012 ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at RPI on Friday.

The Saints just missed cracking the top 25 on the national performance list in the 4x100. Roberts is currently tied for 18^th spot on the performance list for the NCAA Division III Championships in the 100 meters. He ran 10.93 on Thursday in the preliminaries, missing a chance to advance to the final by .03. The top 20 will have the opportunity to compete. He came back on Friday and finished third in the 200 in 21.89 seconds, just under .3 out of the top 25.

Junior A.J. Blaisdell placed 15^th in the hammer on Thursday with a throw of 47.66 meters and Samaroo tied for 10^th in the triple jump with a 13.71 meter jump. In Friday competition, Mike Scott tied for 10^th in the high jump, clearing 1.86 meters and Jake Fredericks finished fifth with a time of 15.15 in the 110 hurdles after running 15.16 in the preliminaries on Thursday.
