A.J. Blaisdell '13

2011-12 Indoor: AJ  improved his personal best in both the weight and the shot by over a meter. He threw 12.89 meters in the shot at the NYSCTC Championship, finishing sixth and was fifth in the Liberty League. He won the Hamilton Invitational weight throw with a PR of 15.71 meters, was Liberty League Champion and finished third in the NYSCTC. He was a Liberty League All Academic selection.2012 Outdoor: AJ improved his personal best by eight meters in the hammer, winning  the event at Cornell, He was the NYSCTC discus champion and was fourth in the hammer in the Liberty League and fifth in the NYSCTC.

2010-11: AJ threw personal bests in the discus, hammer, javelin and weight as a sophomreo and won the weight throw in the Can Am Challenge and the Holiday Relays. He was fifth in the shot, fourth in the discus and third in the hammer in the Liberty League outdoor championships.

2009-10: AJ finished fourth in the Liberty League outdoors and fifth indoors in the shot put, was sixth in the discus and finished second in the hammer. He added a fourth in the weight throw in doors and scored in the NYSCTC indoors with an eighth in the weight.  

At Millbury High School: Blaisdell participated in Football and Track and Field. The Millbury, MA native captained both squads and was the football team's leader in both tackles and sacks. A league all-star in track, Blaisdell was a member of the National Honor Soceity and the Chairman of the Student Advisory Council.
