Saints Fall to Engineers, 6-3

Matt Burke '14 (pictured) and Alan Shortz '15 earned a victory at No.2 doubles today.

April 15: The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team dropped a Liberty League match against opponent Rensselaer by the score of 6-3 on Sunday evening.

First-year student Sam Mullin and senior Chris Rogers earned singles victories at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively. Mullin topped Kyle Borton 7-6(0), 1-6, (10-6), while Rogers defeated Andrew Snyder by the scores of 6-4, 6-4.

In doubles play, sophomore Matt Burke and first-year student Alan Shortz topped Borton and Patrick Russo, 8-4 at No.2.

The Saints will host Hamilton College on Tuesday at the Sammis Tennis Courts.
