2011-12: After spending the fall semester abroad, Hayden returned to the Saints and went 4-10 at #1 singles and 5-10 at #1 doubles. He majors in economics at St. Lawrence.
2010-11: Hayden was 9-5 in dual matches at number two and 12-7 overall this season for the Saints and went 12-8 in doubles matches. The Greenwich, CT native earned Liberty League honorable mention honors in his sophomore season, both in singles and as a doubles team with teammate Tony Wilkey, Jr.
2009-10: Hayden landed the No. 1 position for the Saints' in his rookie season, posting an 8-9 record and a 1-2 record in tournament play. The Greenwich, CT native, together with doubles partner Chris McDonald, recorded a 2-1 record in the No. 1 position.
At Greenwich High School
Michael was a two-sport athlete, competing in both alpine skiing and tennis. In 2009, he captained his tennis team and earned First-Team All-FCIAC Doubles. Michael also helped his team become four-time FCIAC and class LL State Champions. In 2008, he won the Coach's Award and in 2007 he won the Most Improved Player Award.
