Amay Merchant '13

2012: Amay went 8-5 after returning from the first semester abroad in his junior year, winning eight in a row upon his return. He was 1-5 at five, 1-0 at six, 5-0 at eight and 1-0 at nine.  An economics and mathematics combined major, he is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic selection and also earned Dean's List honors.   The Mumbai, India native is a member of Pi Mu Epsilon.

2011: Amay earned All Liberty League honors for the second straight year, going 10-13 as a sophomore. He was 3-3 in the one spot, 7-8 at two and went 0-2 in CSA Individual Nationals. He was a Liberty League All Academic selection and a CSA Scholar-Athlete.

2010: Amay earned Liberty League Rookie of the Year and first team all league honors in his first season of intercollegiate squash and became the second Saint player in program history to win the Molloy Consolation Championship at CSA Individual Nationals. Merchant went 2-5 in the one slot and 6-9 in the two position in addition to going 4-1 at Nationals for a 12-15 overall record.

At Tabor Academy: Amay was MVP and captain of the squash team and was Most Improved Player in tennis.
