Laird Earns All-America Honors

Dec. 4: St. Lawrence University senior co-captain Alex Laird was named a Second Team National All-American soccer player by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, as announced Tuesday afternoon.
Laird earned All-America honors for the second time in his four-year career at St. Lawrence as he anchored one of the top defenses in the country. The Monroe, NY native helped the Saints finish the season ranked 11th in the nation in goals against average (.57) and 12th in shutout percentage (.60). He also chipped in offensively, scoring three goals, including a game-winner against RIT, and assisting on two others during the 2012 season.
