2012: Congdon earned second
team Liberty League All-Conference recognition for the first time in his career
as played an integral part in St. Lawrence's defensive efforts while adding six
assists on the season, good for second on the team. The Brooklyn, NY
native helped the Saints finish the season ranked 11th in the nation in goals against
average (.57) and 12th in shutout percentage (.60).
2011: Will turned in another outstanding season as a starter at back for the Saints. He played in 16 of 20 games, missing four due to injury, and started all 16 that he participated in. He was a key figure as the Saints established team records for shutouts, goals against average and consecutive shutout minutes. A mathematics major at St. Lawrence, he earned Dean's List honors in the spring of 2012.
2010: Will played in 21 games and started 19 for the Saints, turning in an outstanding season as a back. He played a major role as the Saints limited the opposition to 0.64 goals per game and allowed just two goals in Liberty League competition. The Brooklyn, NY native earned Most Improved Player honors on the 2010 squad.
2009: Will played in ten games for the Saints as a rookie. He made his debut in a 3-2 win over Geneseo and played in each of the last seven.
At Beacon: A honors graduate in math and the 2006 winner of the
Scholar-Athlete Award, Will earned a host of soccer honors in an outstanding
prep career. He was a member of the 2008 PSAL Manhattan A-League champions at
the Beacon School and earned All-City first-team, All Metro Area Top Eleven
Team and ESPN Rise All America List honors in 2008. Will played for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy MET OVAL team for two years and in 2008, he was named to the Starting XI for the Academy's Northeast Division. He also played in the national finals in the
Super-Y League for the Brooklyn Knights in 2004 and played in the 2003 3v3 Got
Milk National Championships.
