Ramsey A Double Winner as Saints Finish 2nd in NYSCTC Championship

Dan Ramsey was a double winner and the Saints received a big second day performance from the duo of sophomore Andrew Goodwin and senior Terrance Fox, but St. Lawrence University's men's indoor track and field team had to settle for second place in the nine-team New York State Collegiate Track Conference Championships at RIT on Saturday.
RPI won the meet with 159 points with the Saints second with 149.75 and Ithaca third with 125,75. St. Lawrence had a streak of three straight team championships snapped with its second place finish. The Saints did not have standout thrower Eric Jones, who was attending an NFL Combine tryout during the weekend and was unable to compete in the meet.
Ramsey and the Saint distance corps accounted for 55 points in the meet as the Saint junior led a 30-point showing in the 5000 on Friday evening and came back to pace the Saints to a 25 points event in the 3000 on Saturday.
