2010: Carpenter was one of St. Lawrence's top offensive midfielders in his sophomore season. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi and received both the David and Joan Officer Scholarship as well as the Robert N. Wells Government Department Award.

Carpenter was a stand-out scholar-athlete, receiving awards for his performances both on the field and in the classroom. A four-sport athlete, Carpenter was the MVP of his lacrosse teams each of his final two seasons and was an All-State Second Team selection his senior year. The Windsor, CT native captained both the soccer and lacrosse teams, and earned his way on to the High Honor Roll four straight years.
