Trevelyan, Bagnall Named To ECAC All Decade Team

TJ Trevelyan was named to the first team on the ECAC All Decade Team

A pair of Saint Hobey Baker Award finalists were named to the ECAC Hockey All Decade Team for 2000-2010, the league announced on Friday.

 T.J. Trevelyan, who is fifth all-time in Saint career goals with 78 and ninth in career points with 154 was named to the first team and Drew Bagnall,, one of two SLU defensemen to be named ECAC Player of the Year, was named to the second team.

Trevelyan was a 2006 All America for the Saints and was ECAC Player of the Year and a two-time all-league choice. Bagnall was All America in 2007 and was a first team all-league selection. He is one of just nine defensemen to earn Player of the Year honors in the history of the league.

 Six different teams were represented on the first team with Trevelyan joined by Jeff Hamilton of Yale (1996-2001), Lee Stempniak of Dartmouth (2001-05) at forward with Doug Murray of Cornell (1999-2003) and Noah Welch of Harvard (2001-05) named to the defense spots and Yann Danis of Brown (1999-2004) selected as goalie.

Joining Bagnall on the second team are Colgate's Andy McDonald, Dominic Moore of Harvard, Matt Moulson of Cornell, Reid Cashman of Quinnipiac, Kent Huskins of Clarkson and goaltender David LeNeveau of Cornell.

 Cornell had three players named to the team with Harvard and St. Lawrence landing two players each on the all decade squad.

Trevelyan is currently leading the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League in goal scoring with 25 while Bagnall is playing for the Manchester Monarchs, also in the AHL.
