2010-11:Rick Carden's junior season was curtailed by injury as he played in only 17 games and did not see any action after Jan. 3. He scored his lone goal of the season in a 6-4 home win over Vermont in December and had an assist in game two at Minnesota State and game one at Ferris State.
2009-10: Rick Carden had a solid sophomore season, playing in 34 games and scoring three goals with seven assists for 10 points. He scored his first collegiate goal in a 6-3 home win over Sacred Heart and scored his first career playoff goal in a win over Clarkson.
2008-09: Rick Carden saw action in 15 games for the Saints as a rookie incuding all four playoff games and will be a key contributor for the Saints as his career continues. He made his collegiate debut at Michigan and scored his first collegiate point with an assist in a 5-1 win over Clarkson. He had three assists including his first playoff point against Princeton.
Pre-SLU: A good athlete who earned Most Improved honors for the Lincoln Stars last season, Rick Carden is coming off a 47 point season which included 15 goals and 32 assists in 57 games.
Personal: The son of Patrick and Karen Carden, Rick played lacrosse in high school. He intends to major in economics and his favorite free time activities include watching movies and listening to music.
